Investigate

Information

Investigate! encourages teens interested in science to explore engaging in-depth STEM areas typically not covered in school. Each workshop provides an opportunity to explore multiple areas, increase enthusiasm for STEM, and highlight many STEM careers. Some topics include food science, computer coding, sound engineering, and architecture & design.

Investigate! is made possible by the Liberty Bank Foundation, the Stanley D. and Hinda N. Fisher Fund at Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, the Ross Memorial Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, M&T Charitable Foundation, and Berkshire Bank Foundation.

APPLICATION

Apply now for our next sessions offered in the Winter and Spring of 2024

Winter Session 2/10, 2/16, 2/24, 3/2
Spring Session 3/16, 3/23, 4/6, 4/13

What are we looking for in applications? First, we want to know if you can attend all program dates. Second, we try to have a mix of participants from different grades and different schools. Finally, we want to see that you are interested in exploring different areas of science. If you don’t think your grades in science are great, or even if you don’t like school science classes – that’s OK! We are more interested in what you want to learn than what you have learned already.
