Open to all students grades 9-12, Investigate! meets every other Saturday during the school year. Participants work with Science Center educators and STEM professionals to explore a science, technology, engineering, and math topics not typically covered in high school classes through a series of short courses.
Investigate! is free of charge and lunch and bus passes are included. Participants must commit to attending the full program.
Applications will be accepted until September 6 at 4PM. Applicants will be notified of decisions by September 15.
What are we looking for in applications? First, we want to know that you can attend all program dates. Second, we try to have a mix of participants from different grades and different schools. Finally, we want to see that you are interested in exploring different areas of science. If you don’t think your grades in science are great, or even if you don’t like school science classes - that’s OK! We’re more interested in what you want to learn than what you have learned already.
