Practices of NGSS Workshop Information Practices of NGSS K-5 & 6-12 This immersive workshop strengthens understanding of the Next Generation Science Standards and it’s Framework. Educators will explore the key aspects of three-dimensional teaching—Disciplinary Core Ideas, Crosscutting Concepts, and the Science and Engineering Practices as an adult learner to experience. This provides a holistic understanding of the NGSS dimensions and their application in the classroom. Adult learners will engage with multiple classroom scenarios to learn how to make these instructional shifts to transform their classroom lessons and gain concrete scientific strategies to better support student learning within the NGSS Framework. Date: March 6-8, 2023 Time: 8:30am - 3:00pm Workshop will start promptly at 8:30am. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the start time.
