Traveling Programs
Our Science in Motion Traveling Programs bring fun science demonstrations and hands-on activities directly to you. From NGSS-aligned Classroom Programs to Activity Stations or Assembly Shows, we aim to spark students’ scientific curiosity and build meaningful STEM Habits to provide exciting and inspiring STEM Experiences for students.
Requirements
Programs require tables, chairs, access to water and/or electricity, and 30 minutes for setup and cleanup.
Travel Fees:
Location-based travel fees will apply to all program bookings.
After-hours Surcharge:
A $100 flat fee applies to programs booked outside of normal operating hours (7:30AM-5PM), on weekends, or on select holidays.

Bring science to life with NGSS-aligned student programs! Rooted in the standards, each program is designed to spark curiosity, deepen understanding, and ignite a love of STEM learning. Our hands-on, interactive experiences immerse students in real-world science and engineering while encouraging critical thinking and collaboration. We bring the learning directly to your classroom to boost student engagement and support your curriculum with dynamic, inquiry-based learning that inspires the next generation of problem solvers.

Exploration Programs
Unlock your students’ potential with Exploration Programs— interactive, content-rich experiences that bring complex science concepts and engineering challenges to life. Designed to inspire critical thinking, creativity, and curiosity, these programs go beyond the textbook to immerse students in exciting, real-world STEM applications. Whether solving design challenges or diving deep into scientific phenomena, students are empowered to explore, question, and grow, building skills and sparking interests that extend far beyond the classroom. These 45 minute programs are hands-on and engaging in order to spark excitement in STEM. Exploration programs are perfect for the classroom, youth groups, camps, libraries, and after-school groups.

Assembly Shows
Bring the excitement of science to your school with Assembly Shows! These high-energy, STEM-packed presentations captivate large groups of students through thrilling demonstrations, surprising experiments, and interactive learning moments. Perfect for your next assembly or special events, our shows spark wonder and make science unforgettable.

Activity Stations
Ideal for larger events, Activity Stations are engaging, hands-on experiences perfect for STEM Nights, school or community events, festivals, and more. Each station is a 5-10 minute, high-impact activity or demonstration designed to invite exploration, spark curiosity, and engage participants of all ages in the wonder and excitement of STEM learning in playful, fun ways.

60 Minutes
Activities are intended as a 5-10 minute walk-up experience per student.
Capacity:
Ideal for larger groups and events.
More than one station can be booked for an event.
Please mention the audience size when booking.

Group STEM Activity Kits
Let us deliver hands-on excitement to your group! Our STEM Activity Kits include everything you need—materials, instructions, and a live or pre-recorded session led by a Science Center educator. Perfect for classrooms, afterschool programs, libraries, and community groups, these kits make it easy to bring the wonder of STEM learning wherever it is needed to spark curiosity and inspire learning anytime, anywhere.
Teen Programs
Bring engaging, hands-on STEM learning directly to your school with the Connecticut Science Center’s Teen Traveling Programs. Designed for middle and high school students, these interactive experiences spark curiosity, build critical skills, and connect students with real-world science and technology through expert-led sessions and immersive activities.
