Science Fun
Get ready for a day of Science Fun this Toddler Tuesday! Little scientists will explore the wonders of sink or float, test squishy Oobleck and bouncy Orbeez in sensory bins, and try out cool science tools like magnifying glasses and pipettes. They’ll become Lunar Geologists and create craters with different objects, then finish the day by unveiling secret drawings in a magical watercolor painting activity. It’s a day filled with hands-on experiments and a whole lot of fun!
Toddler Tuesday (September): Science Fun
Science Fun
- Sink or Float: Get ready for a splish-splash science experiment! Toddlers will test all sorts of fun objects to see which ones sink and which ones float. Can you guess which will splash down and which will stay afloat?
- Sensory Bin: Oobleck & Orbeez: Time for squishy, oozy fun! Dive into a magical bin of Oobleck, where the gooey mess is both liquid and solid, and squish colorful Orbeez that pop and bounce in your hands. It’s sensory science at its squishiest!
- Science Tools: Let’s play scientist and explore cool tools! 🔬 Toddlers will try out different science instruments, like magnifying glasses and pipettes, to see how they work and make fun discoveries along the way. It's like being a mini scientist in a big world! 🔬
- Crater Maker: Blast off into space and become a Lunar Geologist! Toddlers will drop objects onto a sandy surface to see how craters form, learning how the energy and mass of different objects make big and small impacts. It’s an out-of-this-world adventure!
- Magic Paintings: Watch a secret painting trick come to life! Use a white crayon to draw hidden pictures, then splash on watercolor and poof—the designs will appear like magic! It’s an artsy, magical science experiment in every stroke.
- Gift Shop: Snacks and drinks available for purchase.
