The Science of Suds

Get ready to feel bubbly with a fun, hands-on exploration of the colorful science of soap and water. This engaging stage show uncovers the mysteries behind bubbles’ shape, color, and surprising behavior. Students will investigate why bubbles are round, test ways to keep them from popping, and experiment with different gases like helium and carbon dioxide to see how they change bubble movement. With larger-than-life demonstrations — including a chance for one student to step inside a giant bubble — this interactive experience merges science with unforgettable entertainment!

Program

Playing with Polymers

Learn the power of polymers! Students will dive into the wild world of polymers through hands-on fun with silly putty, instant snow, and jelly marbles. They'll explore real-world uses for these materials (like diapers and plastic bags), and learn how cross-linked molecules form all that gooey goodness. Science has never been so satisfyingly squishy!
