The Teen Advisory Council brings together teens with a wide range of experiences. Each council member is open-minded, creative, and motivated with diverse interests and backgrounds across the Hartford region. The Teen Council aims to create meaningful opportunities for teens of all backgrounds to be involved at The Connecticut Science Center. Teen Council members provide valuable feedback, insight, and a voice on current and upcoming science center youth-focused programs.
Mission Statement:
The Connecticut Science Center’s Teen Advisory Council empowers teens to create meaningful and engaging programs that resonate with today’s generation. Our mission is to unite the teen community while promoting awareness and excitement for STEAM awareness and identity. Through designing inclusive initiatives and incorporating community feedback, we aim to inspire and educate diverse youth, ensuring STEAM remains a key part of youth development in Connecticut. Together, we strive to amplify our impact and build a future where STEAM continues to thrive among young minds.
