Storm Trackers

Turn your students into storm trackers! This immersive experience lets them step into the roles of meteorologists, using wind models, rainfall data, and past storm patterns to predict a hurricane’s path. They’ll pump air to simulate wind direction, analyze hurricane history, and measure rainfall in real cities across the East Coast to guide their forecast. With special insights from WFSB Meteorologist Mark Dixon, they’ll learn how real storms are tracked. Rain or shine, it’s time to crack the weather code!
