Teen Innovation Program

Information

Teen Innovation provides youth, primarily from under-resourced communities in Connecticut, with opportunities to develop problem-solving skills, gain confidence, and explore STEM career and college pathways.

Teen Innovation Ambassadors spend six weeks over the summer creating original programs and exhibits that teach others about STEM.

Science Center Teen Programs are made possible with major support from the Gawlicki Family Foundation, Liberty Bank Foundation, and The Neag Foundation. Additional support is provided by HSB, the Stanley D. and Hinda N. Fisher Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, Community Foundation of Greater New Britain, M&T Charitable Foundation, and the Right Track Fund at the Hartford Foundation for Public Giving.

APPLICATION INFORMATION

To be eligible to apply for Teen Innovation program in the summer, teens must complete one full session of the Science Center’s Investigate! program or be a part of the Teen Advisory Council for one full school year.
