PARKING WHEN YOU VISIT

Convenient parking at the Science Center/Riverfront Garage is located at the corner of Bob Steele Street, formerly Grove Street, and Columbus Boulevard, underneath the Science Center building. It is a public garage. If this garage is full, we recommend the Connecticut Convention Center garage located across Bob Steele Street, formerly Grove Street. Additional parking and shuttle information is available from the Hartford Parking Authority.

Members receive $5 flat-rate parking in the Science Center and Convention Center garages when visiting the Science Center, courtesy of the Capitol Region Development Authority. To take advantage of the special rate, members must present a valid Connecticut Science Center Membership card to the parking cashier. Members may also be asked to show their hand stamps. The special rate applies only on days the Science Center is open; members using the parking benefit must exit the garage by 6PM.

Please note that the Connecticut Science Center neither owns nor operates the Science Center/Riverfront garage. Parking fees for the garage are determined by Captial Region Development Authority.
