Science Sunday: Iron

We are talking all about iron today. One of the very cool properties of iron is that it is magnetic. (Remember this, it will be important for our experiment later) We also find iron in many of the foods we eat because it has another property that we need to live. Watch the full Science Sunday segment below to learn what this property is. Plus, we will show you an experiment you can try at home to find iron in your food.

The Connecticut Science Center is now open Tuesday-Sunday 10AM-5PM. Timed tickets must be reserved online in advance of your visit. Reserve your tickets by visiting CTScienceCenter.org.
