What do ketchup, lemon juice and vinegar have in common? They all can be used as cleaners for objects in our everyday lives. All three of these kitchen staples are acidic which means they can be used to clean objects such as coins. Which do you think will work best? Teen Innovation at the Connecticut Science Center provides youth, primarily from under-resourced communities in Connecticut, with opportunities to develop problem-solving skills, gain confidence, and explore STEM career and college pathways. Teen Innovation Ambassadors spend six weeks over the summer creating original programs and exhibits that teach others about STEM.
