OpenSciEd Curriculum Launch Workshop

This 4-day Professional Learning Workshop series introduces teachers to the Next Generation Science Standards-aligned OpenSciEd Curriculum, its general materials, and grade-specific units. As a result of this professional learning, teachers will understand the supports and routines embedded in OpenSciEd units. They will explore and practice these instructional shifts as we work towards creating an environment for student-sensemaking as part of a coherent learning experience. Teachers will explore the curriculum materials as a whole group and have the opportunity to explore their grade-specific unit in small cohorts to more deeply explore this instructional model and its resources to deepen content knowledge, improve planning, and instruction.

Workshop will start promptly at 8:00am. We recommend arriving 15 minutes before the start time.
