Teen Innovation provides youth, primarily from under-resourced communities in Connecticut, with opportunities to develop problem-solving skills, gain confidence, and explore STEM career and college pathways.

Teen Innovation Ambassadors spend six weeks over the summer creating original programs and exhibits that teach others about STEM.

Teen Innovation is made possible by major support from The Gawlicki Family Foundation and the Bank of America Charitable Foundation. Additional supporters include Liberty Bank Foundation, HSB, Stanley D. and Hinda N. Fisher Fund at Hartford Foundation for Public Giving, M&T Charitable Foundation, and Berkshire Bank Foundation.

Check back in the Fall for ways to apply!

What are we looking for in applications? First, we want to know that you can attend all program dates. Second, we try to have a mix of participants from different grades and different schools. Finally, we want to see that you are interested in exploring different areas of science. If you don’t think your grades in science are great, or even if you don’t like school science classes – that’s OK! We are more interested in what you want to learn than what you have learned already.

Investigate! meets on Saturdays, 10AM–3:30PM
