Have you ever looked at a chicken egg and wondered how a baby chick can breathe through the shell? The secret all comes down to the tiny pores in the shell that grow with the chicken. In this week’s Science Sunday segment, Aoife Ryle and Mark Dixon show how developing chicks get air in and out of their shell with a simple experiment. The best part of this week’s segment is you can do this experiment at home with just three ingredients and an egg!
