Chemistry is such a huge part of science, so we decided to have a little fun experimenting with it today. There are four beakers set up on our table, two with equal amounts water and green food coloring and two with equal amounts water and blue food coloring. Two of these beakers, one of each color, will be our controls for the experiment. Control means that these beakers will remain the same and we will compare the ones that are changing to them to see what changes are happening. For this experiment, we are exploring how bleach works. So, what do you think will happen when bleach gets poured into the water and food coloring solution? Watch the full Science Sunday segment to learn more.

There is so much more Science Sunday to explore. Check out the full gallery of segments on our blog: https://ctsciencecenter.org/blog_categories/science-play/
