Science Sunday: Fun with Liquid Nitrogen

We have all of the supplies together to have some fun with liquid nitrogen today. Liquid nitrogen sits at -328 degrees Fahrenheit, so we will be using the proper equipment to not have our skin come into contact with it. There are a few different items we are going to experiment with smashing today- a hot dog bun, rubber tire insulation and flowers. Watch the full Science Sunday segment to see exactly what happens when you mix these items with liquid nitrogen.

There is so much more Science Sunday to explore. Check out the full gallery of segments on our blog: https://ctsciencecenter.org/blog_categories/science-sunday/.
