Science Sunday: Plumbing Science

Welcome to Science Sunday! This week, we’re exploring plumbing science. Yes, we promise this will make sense by the end. Teflon tape is an essential tool in plumbing to keep the threading between two pipes watertight. With the upcoming release of the film starring everyone’s favorite plumber, Mario, on July 21 & 22, we thought it fitting to explore this topic in more detail. To find out more, watch our full video, which even explains how you can use the tape to write secret messages.

There is so much more Science Sunday to explore. Check out the full gallery of segments on our blog: https://ctsciencecenter.org/blog_categories/science-play/
