Today we are talking about the doppler effect, which is probably something you have experienced before without even realizing it. If you have ever heard a siren, from an ambulance, fire truck, or something similar, then you have experienced the doppler effect. The sound of the siren seems to be changing to our ears, but in reality, it is not. As the object comes closer or further away, something very interesting happens to the sound waves.
