STEM CAREER PROGRAMMING
With the world around us so rapidly changing, STEM Career Connections at the Connecticut Science Center have never been more critical. We are committed to bringing virtual STEM learning into homes and classrooms across the community and inspiring younger generations to pursue life-saving, solution-finding careers that will help navigate future global crises. We offer students and families opportunities to learn from real STEM professionals who share their experiences and illustrate their work’s real-world applications.
CONNECT STUDENTS WITH STEM EXPERTS
STEM Career Showcases highlight career opportunities in Connecticut, develop capable thinkers and innovators for our future, and inspire youth to consider STEM careers. Middle and high school students take field trips to the Connecticut Science Center and interact with STEM professionals in our galleries.
We host local corporate partners who engage with students informally through hands-on demonstrations and conversations to connect them to exciting career opportunities. To fully demonstrate the wealth of employment possibilities available in our students' home state, we are committed to bringing in a diverse array of exhibitors from a wide range of fields.
